Terms of service.
Last updated 1 April 2026.
1. The contract
When you submit a booking on quickfix.ae or by WhatsApp, your booking is an offer to purchase the listed service at the listed AED price. We accept the booking by sending you a confirmation message naming the technician and the arrival window. At that point a contract exists between you and QuickFix Home Services LLC (Dubai DED CN-3411098).
2. Pricing
The price you book is the price on the invoice. The exception is parts at supplier cost — for example, a replacement water-heater unit. Parts pricing is communicated and agreed before the part is ordered. VAT (5%) is included in all listed prices unless stated otherwise. Out-of-zone surcharge is AED 50; after-hours emergency surcharge is 30% on top of the standard call-out. Both are listed on the pricing page.
3. Payment
Payment is on completion. We accept card (Visa/Mastercard via Network International), cash, bank transfer, and Apple Pay. For corporate-paid bookings under a 30-day account, invoices are issued with our TRN within an hour of job completion and are payable inside thirty days.
4. Cancellation, no-shows, and rescheduling
Free cancellation up to two hours before the booked window. Inside two hours, the call-out fee (AED 95) is charged. If we are not granted access to the unit at the booked window after two reasonable attempts, the call-out fee is charged. Rescheduling outside the two-hour window is free.
5. Same-day-or-it's-free
For accepted same-day bookings in our six core zones (Marina, JLT, Downtown, Business Bay, JVC, Silicon Oasis), if we do not arrive inside the agreed window, the call-out fee is waived. This policy does not apply to next-day-morning bookings or out-of-zone bookings.
6. Return-visit policy
If the same fault returns within thirty days of the visit, the return visit is free of labour charges. Replacement parts, if needed, are charged at supplier cost. The return-visit policy does not apply if the fault is caused by tenant or third-party action after the technician left.
7. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the AED value of the booking, except where higher liability is mandated by UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15/2020) or where loss arises from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Public liability cover of AED 5 million is held with Oman Insurance Company.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation is referred to the Dubai Courts.
