Adnan Rashid
Founder & CEO

Born in Lahore, raised in Sharjah. Spent 2014–2020 at Emaar Community Management as Facilities Lead for the Greens Phase 4 estate (1,400 units). Left to build a transparent, flat-rate home-services company because the market was either unbranded contractors with no accountability or expensive concierge services with no middle. Adnan personally signs off on every 1-star review reply.

Khalid Anwar
Co-founder & COO

Born in Karachi, UAE resident since 2008. Spent 2011–2020 at Etisalat managing a 60-technician copper and fibre install team across Dubai North. Brings the dispatch discipline — every job has a 60-minute arrival window, every technician has a 7am route handed to them by 6:30am the night before, and every late arrival is logged before the customer notices.

Flat-rate pricing

Our price book is on the website. There are no surprise add-ons after the technician arrives, no diagnostic-then-quote-then-yes-then-no dance.

Named technician

Every booking confirmation tells you who is coming, what zone they live in, and how many years they have been with us.

Same-day or it's free

If we accept a same-day booking and don't arrive in the agreed window, the call-out fee is waived. We have only invoked this 41 times in 7,240 jobs.

No upsell calls

Our technicians do not earn commission. They are paid hourly, with a quarterly bonus tied to repeat-customer rate, not job size.

2021
QuickFix opens with three technicians (Adnan, Khalid, one apprentice plumber). First office is a co-working desk in Bay Square. First-month: 14 jobs.
2021
Same-day-or-it's-free policy launched. First waived fee in month four — a Karama address that turned out to be in a gated compound with no entry permit.
2022
Headcount reaches 12. AC servicing added as a separate vertical after summer demand exceeds plumbing capacity. Sara Khan joins as full-time dispatcher.
2022
Flat-rate price book published in full on the website. The marketing assumption was that competitors would copy it. Two years later, none have.
2023
Headcount reaches 21. Carpentry and painting added. Aisha Mahmood joins to lead customer care after Khalid noticed reply latency on Google reviews was creeping past 48 hours.
2024
First repeat-customer milestone — 1,000 households have used QuickFix more than once. Quarterly technician bonus formalised at 8% of base salary tied to repeat rate.
2025
Headcount reaches 32. Deep cleaning, appliance install, pest control and the handyman bundle added — all four launched in the same quarter to capture the post-summer move-in volume.
2026
GMB Studio (this demo's AI feature) deployed internally to handle the by-now ~70-review-per-month inbound. Sara and Aisha approve every reply before publish.
